The judges said:

The Cushon Sustainable Investment Strategy is based on improving member outcomes, which requires a move from a focus on cost towards a focus on value for members and for employers. At its heart is climate risk mitigation and our use of impact strategies - both climate and social.

Cushon’s aim has always been to ensure that we provide our members with impactful and meaningful financial wellbeing products and services.   

Pensions have long suffered from a severe lack of engagement – a huge number of members don’t know how much they pay into their pension or what their money is invested in. Our research shows that by 35-years-old, a third of savers (28%) lose track of at least one of their pension pots because they’re not engaged. Meanwhile, two in five (41%) older workers don’t know how much they have saved for retirement.   

Engagement with pensions is key to driving financial wellbeing. We do this by empowering savers to take control of their finances through engaging climate-conscious pensions, saving products, our intuitive market leading app, and other financial education initiatives.
